The Challenge
The client had been using a website designed using ASP, which required expensive hosting and very limited ability to change the content. Any changes to the content required expensive engineering.
The Solution
Cognisant proposed a new website using WordPress, which enabled the client to make changes to the content at will, and without any expensive engineering costs. Booking plugin enables the client to show availability of each property online, take bookings online, and manage pricing easily.
The Result
The website was delivered on-time, on-budget, and provided everything Cognisant had promised including functionality that was not available on previous platform, including the ability for the client to manage the content. The new solution was less costly to run as it can be hosted on a standard Linux server which has been optimised for WordPress.
